Our Unisex Cedar Shirt is cut from our carefully crafted and handwoven indigos. It takes 90 days to weave the fabric from yarns that have been hand dyed to different levels of indigo. The collar and pocket are embellished with a beautiful sashiko stitch hand embroidery inspired by our collection of antique Japanese textiles. Single tailor construction ensures that this shirt is made to last, and its timeless look makes it perfect to pass down for decades and hopefully centuries, like the fabrics that inspired it. An easy pullover fit, this was inspired by the preppy madras pullovers of the 60’s. A twist on the fun shirt, different levels of solid indigo are mixed at the front, back, pocket, placket, and collar, but its so subtle that only a trained eye can see it. Wash it cold and hang it dry, it only gets better with age.
